One-Million-Hit Giveaway!

Wednesday, May 10, 2017 22 Comments A+ a-

Hey, guys! Guess what?

The Cafe has over one million pageviews!

Woot! Cool milestone, right? I think so! And it's all because of you, my friends. You're the reason for this blog and its success. I'm incredibly grateful for your support. Gives me warm fuzzies just thinking about it!

So, allow me to thank you by giving away some free stuff. This milestone is a big deal for me...and honestly, I went a little nuts. I saved up for some healthy Amazon cards, reserved a couple of GAMBIT paperbacks, and even had a local pottery artist hand-craft some mugs with the Cafe logo on them.

Check it out...

Aren't those mugs gorgeous? I love how they turned out! Earthy, textured, authentic. The artist created each one uniquely, so they vary in size, but they both hold at least 16 ounces and are microwave and dishwasher safe. Yes, those are $100 Amazon gift cards (did I mention I went a little nuts?). Haha, I couldn't help myself. And I really hope the GAMBIT copies will find their way into the hands of teens who are craving dystopian adventure.

Okay, here's how the giveaway will work. I've created two prize bundles; each one contains a gift card, a mug, and a paperback. So there will be two winners. I'm using Rafflecopter and—to increase your chances of winningadded multiple options. Some you can do once, others you can come back and do every day. The more you enter, the better your odds.

Easy peasy. :)

I'm putting the entry form here and on the Cafe fan page. Be sure to check back daily to enter more than once! The giveaway is currently open to US/Canada only, will run for two weeks, and ends at midnight (Central Time) on May 24th.

Thanks again to all of you. You make my heart smile.

Have fun!

M.

My favourite superhero is Captain America. I have a bit of nostalgic feeling for him because I remember spending hours in an arcade room playing a Captain America. Also, he seems like he would be lawful good at first glance, but he's really a chaotic good character.

I never really got into superheros, so I guess I'd have to say Superman? Though we are currently watching the show Super Girl on Netflix as a family, and we're enjoying it. It's fun to see an ordinary looking girl figure out she can help people.

It's hard to pick just one, but I'd have to say Spider-Man. He's been a favorite since I was a little girl. He's smart, resourceful, funny, a bit nerdy (never the popular kid). He'd always have to deal with feelings of self-doubt and inadequacy and never feeling sure he's done "enough".

My favorite super hero is spider man. I've never been much of a superhero person, but I grew up watching spider man with my father because he'd watch them repetitively.

My favourite super hero is Captain America for standing firm in what he believes is right. And I've always had a soft spot for him because he's quite literally not in his own times.

My favorite superhero is Ladybug from Miraculous! Because personally, I think she's an INFJ, and one of the few superheroes I am pretty sure are one!

Recently read "Hero Bear and the Kid" with my son. It's a great graphic novel and every kid's wish come true that a toy bear becomes a giant superhero and the child becomes his sidekick. Together they battle evil. A fun read and great illustrations!

Its hard for me to pick a super hero. Being your typical INFJ, I tend to dive into a lot of fantasy to escape reality! 💔 I also tend to love the villains too. If I had to choose one I would say wonder women. Lol

Definitely Batman, you wouldn't know how obsessed I am with him and the Rogues Gallery. My room is filled with collectables on all things Batman.

Favorite superhero is a tough one. She may not be a considered a superhero, but I'd say River Tam from Firefly/Serenity.

I don't exactly have a favorite but I do have one that is nostalgic, as many girls of the 1980s do... Wonder Woman! :) I played with my sister in the yard many days pretending we were her, with her lasso and cape... and jumping off of our roof (o.O). hehe
